<p><b><span>Who We Are</span></b></p><p>Binomial Real Estate supports Blackstone’s residential mortgage portfolio business. Binomial manages a portfolio of business-purpose loans and reperforming loans (RPL’s), providing critical asset due diligence and vendor oversight. Binomial, a remote-first company, has its corporate headquarters located in New York, NY with employees located in each time zone. </p><p></p><p><b><span>Why this role is valuable</span></b></p><p>The Associate, Reporting Analytics is responsible for designing reports that analyze the performance of Blackstone’s residential mortgage portfolio including prepayment and default trends. A good candidate will be a mortgage and Excel wizard, able to find portfolio trends before anyone else. An amazing candidate will be able to use tools like PowerBI or Tableau to automate that work. A super-amazing candidate will also use Python or R to take our analysis to the next level.</p><p></p><p><b><span>How you add value</span></b></p><ul><li><p>We have 60k loans owned by ~12 different investors. You will help us discover what is happening in these portfolios in real time using SQL and dashboards</p></li><li><p>Garbage In, Garbage Out. You will have a keen eye for data helping discover errors no one else can see and creating processes to ensure we find data issues before they happen.</p></li><li><p>We manage lots of different product types across multiple investors. The overall portfolio could be doing fine while a specific investor or product is struggling. You will bring your natural curiosity to find patterns no one else can see.</p></li><li><p>Doing things by hand is for the birds. Help us automate everything.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>What you bring to the role</b></p><p><span>Binomial Real Estate seeks to hire individuals who are motivated, experienced in the subject matter area, and are detail oriented while working within hard deadlines mandated by regulation, and are self-sufficient in a remote work environment.
