<b>Description</b><br><p>Job Title: Data Engineer – Risk & AI Team</p><p>Company Overview</p><p>Team Mission</p><p>The Risk & AI team within Customer Success partners directly with clients to deliver cutting-edge risk prevention solutions. We design strategies, build models, implement data pipelines, and provide enablement training—all while collaborating across departments to ensure excellence.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Analyze and assess raw client data for quality and usability</li><li>Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and enrichment</li><li>Automate data validation and quality assurance processes</li><li>Collaborate with data scientists on feature engineering workflows</li><li>Optimize data workflows for performance and cost across cloud/on-prem environments</li><li>Lead client discussions on data architecture and integration strategies</li><li>Partner with Product, Engineering, and Research to enhance platform capabilities</li><li>Mentor junior engineers on best practices and coding standards</li></ul><p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field</li><li>Proficiency in Python (or Go/Scala)</li><li>Experience with distributed data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)</li><li>Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)</li><li>Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL practices</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools</li><li>Knowledge of modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)</li><li>Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience with ML data pipelines and feature stores</li><li>Resource optimization and system/application monitoring expertise</li></ul><p><br></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Why Matrix </strong></p><p class="ql-align-justify">Matrix is a global, dynamic, fast-growing technical consultancy leading technology services company with 13000 employees worldwide.
