Associate Engagement Manager

<div><div>Job Description</div></div><div><div><div><div>The Workday Associate Engagement Manager is a project manager, who can support client, company, and team accomplishment. This person will be hands-on with the  support of key project deliverables such as: charter, project/staffing plans, issue logs, etc. while driving client engagement. Any budget or resourcing constraints will be  communicated and addressed, keeping in mind the project’s success and profitability Responsibilities<ul><li>Become an expert in Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements.  </li><li>Demonstrate an understanding in the Workday product suite - HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials.  </li><li>Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed.  </li><li>Provide support to Engagement and Senior Engagement Manager on larger projects. </li><li>Work with the client project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes.  </li><li>Ensure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW.  </li><li>Work with Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints.  </li><li>Assist in the transition of the client from professional services to product support.  </li><li>Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation. </li><li>Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns about  </li><li>applications.  </li><li>Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings. </li><li>Identify and escalate change orders in the event client is requesting CS to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW.  </li><li>Participate in the sales cycle as requested to gather requirements, formulate  </li><li>delivery approach, and develop a proposal/SOW.  </li></ul>Skills & Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Information Systems, or related field </li><li>Previous Workday experience strongly preferred, but not required.  </li><li>Knowledge of Internet technology and Enterprise Resource Planning.  </li><li>A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll.  </li><li>PMP is strongly desired </li></ul></div></div></div></div>

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $75,800 - $95,865 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
