About the position
The Business Analysis Associate II position within the Continuous Improvement and Business Controls team at Chase focuses on enhancing banking operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role provides an opportunity to develop a solid foundation in operational processes, regulatory frameworks, and data analytics while collaborating with various business lines across the firm to drive improvements and maintain audit readiness.
Responsibilities
• Analyze business processes for gaps, opportunities, control breaks, and compliance alignment, and work with partners to produce resolutions.

• Partner with businesses across the firm to strengthen the control environment and prepare operations teams for audits.
,
• Conduct Change Management Assessments to ensure process/system changes are evaluated, updated, tested, and implemented timely.
,
• Leverage data analytical skills to identify gaps and exceptions in processes.
,
• Identify opportunities for improvements and apply new tools and technology to meet current business needs and anticipate future needs.
Requirements
• 4 years of relevant operations experience in data analytics, problem resolution, and change management.

• Bachelor's Degree.
,
• Proficiency with standard MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Access).
,
• Ability to deliver value-added support to business partners in a dependable, timely, and accurate manner.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
,
• Detail-oriented and quality assurance oriented with a willingness to ask questions to gain full understanding of products or processes.

• 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, Java, or Alteryx.
