About the Job

The Department of Film, Animation and New Media at The University of Tampa is seeking part-time instructors to teach courses in Animation. Classes may include areas of 2D and 3D Animation, 3D Printing, Motion Capture, Visual Effects, compositing, virtual production, Animation for Interactivity and Games, and more.

• Teach one or more 4-hour courses per semester in Animation.
• Utilize department syllabus and course assignments, with meeting times and specific reading and writing assignments for students within the departmental guidelines and program mission.
• Manage online-paperwork grading system.

Requirements

• Master of Fine Arts degree in Animation or related areas preferred.
• Experience in Digital Animation preferred.
• Experience with Maya, Cinema 4D Software preferred.
• College teaching experience in related areas preferred.
