About the position
The Installation Programmer (RPG/SQL) at Jack Henry & Associates is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for financial institutions. This role involves programming, troubleshooting, and implementing enhancements to existing software products, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. The position is part of a hybrid team that collaborates remotely and meets in person approximately once a month.
Responsibilities
• Develop programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.

• Devise block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.
,
• Troubleshoot and debug existing code.
,
• Test code and fixes to ensure quality.
,
• Develop conversion and system implementation plans; implement newly created code and fixes into existing software.
,
• Provide programming support for various interfaces.
,
• Keep customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes.
,
• Create programming documentation.
,
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of RPG/CL/SQL programming experience.
,
• Ability to work at least one weekend per month.
,
• Ability to travel up to 10% for onsite customer visits/installs.
Nice-to-haves
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• Experience within a financial institution.
