<p><b>Summary:</b>&nbsp;</p><p>The Area Account Manager (AAM) is a critical outside sales role responsible for driving new business development and establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers (President, VP of Sales, Sales Manager, Sales and Operations staff) within the assigned Orange County territory. Under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director, the AAM will manage the entire sales process from prospecting through close. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Brivo's comprehensive portfolio of solutions, as well as general understanding of integrated components and systems such as Multifamily applications, Visitor Management, Elevator Control, IP video, and wireless locks.</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Manage assigned territory</li><li>Maintain good communication, both verbal and written, with inside and field resources to facilitate sales growth in Brivo’s independent and national dealer channels</li><li>Build understanding of the Brivo security platform, including supported devices and integrations and effectively demonstrate the capabilities to prospects</li><li>Prospect, onboard, cultivate and grow new dealers</li><li>Respond to customer requests for information in a timely manner</li><li>Provide system sales and product training for system integrators</li><li>Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update Salesforce.com CRM with all relevant information</li><li>This role requires 70%&nbsp; travel within the assigned territory, with occasional travel outside for business purposes such as conventions, sales meetings, and other sales-related activities</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Reside within the Orange County, California market</li><li>2+ years&nbsp; of sales experience, preferably within the security industry, SaaS, software sales, or information security, with experience selling in a defined territory</li><li>Proven direct channel field sales experience (this is <i>not</i> an overlay or inside sales position)</li><li>Demonstrated track record of prospecting, qualifying, recruiting, and supporting new dealer opportunities</li><li>Exhibit self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in a professional manner</li><li>Present ideas, expectations, and information concisely and in a well-organized way</li><li>Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas</li><li>Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), and other essential business tools</li><li>Bachelor’s degree and/or directly related sales experience</li></ul>The compensation package for this full-time position includes a base salary range of $75,000-$80,000 (OTE $110,000-$125,000). Individual compensation packages are based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions.
