This role focuses on developing, securing, and managing promotional and ticketing partnerships for our annual Consensus Event . You'll work with key organizations in various sectors—including academia, protocols, associations, foundations, developer communities, and the startup/VC ecosystem—to connect them with Consensus, promote the event within their networks, and drive ticket sales. You will report to the Vice President of Consensus and serve as the primary point of contact for all audience partners. A key part of your role will be collaborating with internal Sales, Marketing, and Content teams to create target lists, develop outreach strategies, and ensure successful execution of all partnerships.</span></p><p></p><p><span>The ideal candidate is a proactive and persuasive multitasker with a strong work ethic and a knack for networking. You should know the key companies, communities, and people of crypto and Web3. And be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with experience in media and marketing. We are looking for a candidate who is creative, a strong project manager, and passionate about growing partnerships for our flagship event. Since we are expanding our focus on partnerships in Latin America, fluency in Spanish is a significant plus.</span></p><p></p><p><b><b>What You’ll Do:</b></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Drive ticket revenue and event attendance by developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy for Consensus Miami and and any relevant lead-up events. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Target audience, ticket, platform, community and marketing partnerships across academia, associations, protocols, foundations, communities, developers, diversity, and startup/VC sectors</span></p></li><li><p><span>Serve as primary point of contact for all audience partnership opportunities, managing full client lifecycle from prospecting through contracting, fulfillment, and relationship maintenance</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identify and onboard revenue share and media partners to drive broad awareness and scale ticket sales</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Content, Studios, Product, Ad-Ops) to brainstorm new opportunities, maximize promotional assets, and create integrated partnership offerings</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop partnership proposals, presentations, copy, and marketing materials</span></p></li><li><p><span>Establish and track KPIs for ticket sales and partnership outcomes, providing regular reporting and data-driven strategy recommendations</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain working knowledge of CoinDesk's full product portfolio (Events, Activations, Journalism, media products) to create comprehensive partnership opportunities</span></p></li><li><p><span>Research competitors and industry trends to identify new partnership opportunities and experiment with innovative program ideas</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support marketing team with crypto event listing site placements and review/approve relevant audience partner applications</span></p></li></ul><p><b><span> </span></b></p><p><b><b>What You Have:</b><span> </span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>4+ years of experience working in sales, marketing, partnerships or events</span></p></li><li><p><span>Fluency in English is required with professional fluency in Spanish strongly preferred.
