The Master Data Coordinator coordinates and oversees the data entry process for critical information in new and existing systems. Establishes and maintains guidelines, assessing master data related issues and implementing improvement initiatives. Works with users from across the organization to optimize master data practices for new and existing systems that will aid in the development of system reporting and dashboards for evolving business needs. Has excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration among diverse stakeholders. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Business, or related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in master data, data management, data governance, or related disciplines. Knowledge of data quality principles, metadata management, and master data management (MDM). Travel: 0-10% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and maintains data entry guidelines and procedures to streamline data input and minimize errors. Provides training and support to staff on data entry best practices. Coordinates mass data entry processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across new and existing systems. Collaborates with various departments to aid in the development of system reporting based on changing business needs Monitors data entry accuracy to ensure compliance with established data governance and standards. Guides users on data reporting capabilities and sharing new technologies for improved analytics over time. Analyzes system data to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. Drives the development and implementation of data quality improvement initiatives. Partners with Business Technology and other stakeholders to resolve data-related issues and enhance system functionality. Manages the data obsolescence process. Ensures data security and confidentiality in accordance with company policies and regulations. Collaborates with the Data and Analytics team to support an enterprise data catalog. Promotes data literacy and fosters a data-centric culture across the organization. Advocates change management efforts related to data governance adoption and tool implementation. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
