About the position

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Global Sales Coordinator to join our Hyatt Sales Force Americas Transient team. In this role, you will work with an assigned team of Transient Directors to support the sales and RFP process through administrative functions for the team and our hotel partners. You will also collaborate on a larger scale with the broader Hyatt Sales Force Transient and Global Enterprise Teams and play an instrumental role in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. Responsibilities
• Providing extensive administrative support to Directors as it relates to sales, organization, timelines, deadlines, and more
,
• Supporting daily communication with customers, hotel partners, and other internal and external stakeholders
,
• Preparing sales reporting monthly, quarterly, and running other ad-hoc reporting in Cognos and the Sales Cube as requested
,
• Analyzing, aggregating, and streamlining data through a sales lens
,
• Managing the customer database
,
• Creating and updating sales materials, including Business Review presentations, marketing flyers, and other sales collateral
,
• Assisting in the timely execution of Transient RFP Tasks
,
• Actively participating in the team's workflow, including team calls and virtual meetings
,
• Completing/leading special projects as requested

Requirements
• 3 years of related industry experience
,
• Strong understanding of the Corporate Travel / Transient Segment and the Transient RFP Process
,
• Sound understanding of Hotel Sales Practices and / or Operational Processes
,
• Strong business acumen and ability to apply a customer-focused and sales-oriented lens to administrative tasks
,
• Expert knowledge of the Microsoft suite, including a strong ability to work in PowerPoint and Excel
,
• Experience working in Cvent Transient (Lanyon)

Nice-to-haves
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field
,
• Experience with Hyatt Systems including Reserve, Opera, Envision, Cognos, ThoughtSpot
,
• Knowledge of other RFP Tools (including ReadyBid, Tripbam, BTP, Ratefinding) and / or SynXis
