<h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2>
<p>The team member in this role will successfully support the financial health of the business by reviewing, creating, and managing financial practices and processes</p>
<h2><strong>How You’ll Contribute</strong></h2>
<ul><li>Complete most monthly close duties by reconciling all financial statements, bank accounts, credit cards, benefits, and insurance statements; prepare and record prepaids, depreciation, and all journal entries; address and research discrepancies.</li><li>Gather and process AP as approved by submitting payments through vendor sites, established bill pay system, or manual checks.</li><li>Manage AR biweekly by sending initial invoices, collecting, and processing payments, following up with delinquent accounts, fostering client relationships, and keeping contact information current.</li><li>Work with internal committees and stakeholders to identify, assess, and onboard AP/AR vendors that support healthy financial controls and transparency.</li><li>Work with internal team members to review and manage client credits, adjustments, and admin fee payments.</li><li>Process and submit payroll through ADP and/or Paycor; review payroll pre-process reports address any variations; document concerns and adjustments, as well as obtain approval before submitting for final processing.</li><li>Review, make changes to, socialize, and implement new SOPs to strengthen financial controls.</li><li>Work with HR and other individuals to appropriately identify, file, and document employment related state and federal filings.</li><li>Work with external stakeholders to ensure that all tax filings for state and federal are completed and documented.</li><li>Other work and ah hoc projects may be assigned as well.</li></ul>

<h2><strong>What You’ll Need to Have</strong></h2>
<ul><li>Must have at least 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, which includes working as an integral part of or leading the month-end close process, preferably within the healthcare field.</li><li>Must have a B.S. or B.A. in a related field or equivalent experience. Masters preferred.</li><li>Must have a working knowledge of, or be able to quickly learn, QuickBooks or similar system.</li><li>Be able to travel once a year for our corporate gathering, which includes overnight stays.</li><li>Ability to attend and professionally engage in video meetings with other employees, clients, and members if applicable.</li><li>Strong technological skills, meaning you can effectively and efficiently use computers, peripheral equipment, and applications/systems, including Microsoft Office products.</li><li>Autonomous self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity.</li><li>Creative mindset and ability to appropriately challenge the status quo.</li><li>Superb written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Ability to overcome obstacles with a ‘yes if...’ approach.</li><li>Ability to effectively balance competing deadlines without losing focus on the bigger picture.</li><li>Reliable internet and power with a designated area to conduct work with minimal interruptions.</li></ul>
