Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager. This role will play a key part in the preparation, analysis, and delivery of accurate financial reporting and planning to support senior leadership, project teams, and department managers. The ideal candidate will bring deep FP&A expertise, strong knowledge of GAAP principles, and ideally experience in the pharmaceutical commercial space.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for senior management, project leadership, and department managers across aligned cost centers and projects.
• Actively participate in Month-End Close activities, including report generation, accrual analysis, variance analysis, and providing detailed commentary.
• Manage the accrual and accounting processes for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Conduct meetings with internal teams to discuss budgets, interpret financial data, manage invoices and contracts, and address related business topics.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of all financial reporting, including summarizing various expense categories.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, with strong traditional FP&A experience.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally within the commercial sector, is preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles and accounting processes.
• Proven track record in supporting companywide budgeting, forecasting, and contracting processes.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with tools such as Anaplan, Power BI, and QuickBase.
• Ability to build and interpret complex financial models is a plus.
