Executes FlexStaff staffing strategy for assigned areas to ensure client needs are met. Receives and fulfills staffing requests of clinical and non-clinical contingent staff for assigned areas throughout Northwell Health. Collaborates with clinical and non-clinical leaders to manage and align employee resources against site needs.
Responsibilities:
• Monitors staffing needs for specified areas and ensures support expectations are met.
• Reviews and submits temp profiles against long term staffing needs.
• Reviews and confirms temp short-term requests to support daily needs.
• Monitors and updates all long-term orders in FlexStaff database to ensure accuracy.
• Documents daily communications between site/staff in FlexStaff database.
• Initiates and promotes process improvement opportunities, as necessary.
• Monitors filled percentage of long-term and short-term orders, reporting back to management.
• May collaborate with myTIME Kronos team, HR Technology and FlexStaff leadership to promote the development, implementation and continuous improvement of technology.
• Ensures compliance standards are met before approving staff for shift(s) both short and long term.
• Performs related duties, as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferred.
• Knowledge of all applicable health system, New York State and Federal employment regulations, preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience, required.
• Strong verbal, written and customer service skills, required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task, required.
