We're Hiring: B2B Sales Closer (Freelance) – Remote (Ideally based in Orange County or Los Angeles, CA)
Agency: Mazaltos | High-Ticket Creative & Marketing Services
Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for marketing and creative industries? Mazaltos, a dynamic creative and marketing agency, is looking for a freelance B2B Sales Closer to generate qualified leads, conduct discovery calls, and help close deals alongside our CEO and Account Managers.
Responsibilities:
• Prospect and identify qualified B2B leads across industries using tools like LinkedIn, Organic Search, and others.
• Perform outreach and cold calling/emailing to engage leads.
• Conduct discovery calls to gather key prospect information (pain points, budget, urgency, decision-making power).
• Book qualified meetings for the CEO or Account Manager.
• Support the sales process from lead generation to closing, with the agency delivering proposals when necessary.
• Register and manage prospects via HubSpot.
• Meet weekly benchmarks:
• 50 qualified leads added to HubSpot
• 10 discovery calls conducted
• 2 qualified meetings booked
• 1 monthly retainer client closed OR $3,000 in one-time sales per month
Compensation:
• 20% commission on monthly retainers closed under contract.
• 15% commission on one-time services.
• Bonus:
• $1,000 bonus for surpassing $6,000 in monthly in closed deals
• $2,000 bonus for surpassing $12,000 monthly in closed deals
• $3,000 bonus for surpassing $18,000 monthly in closed deals
• Services range from Social Media Management to High-end Videography, Digital Ads, Branding, and Podcast Production – ideal for clients looking for high-impact, premium results.
Ideal Candidate:
• Based in California (preferably Orange County or Los Angeles)
• Native English speaker (Spanish is a strong plus)
• Experience in agency sales, marketing services, or digital/creative industries
• Proficient in cold calling, prospecting, and lead qualification
• Comfortable using CRM, and similar tools (HubSpot & ASANA preferred)
• Familiar with traditional & digital marketing strategies
• Can operate under a freelance/commission-based model, with the opportunity to move to base commission after a 3–6 month trial
