<b>Description</b><br><p>Dragonfli Group partners with mission-driven organizations to implement practical, scalable solutions in governance, risk, and compliance. We are seeking a Consultant – Enterprise Risk Management to bring subject matter expertise and hands-on delivery to a multi-year ERM program for a large municipal utility.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a role for a strategic problem-solver who thrives on building frameworks that have real operational impact. You will help establish risk governance structures, conduct risk assessments, develop profiles, create mitigation plans, and introduce processes for continuous risk identification. Your work will directly influence operational resilience, decision-making speed, and risk awareness across the enterprise.</p><p><br></p><p>Candidates in Los Angeles, Sacramento, or Washington, D.C. will be prioritized.</p><p><br></p><p>U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:· </p><ul><li>Facilitate enterprise risk assessments and develop detailed risk profiles.</li><li>Create and maintain risk taxonomy, escalation standards, and prioritization models.</li><li>Draft governance documentation and supporting ERM policies.</li><li>Implement risk reporting processes, including automation where applicable.</li><li>Support the integration of risk awareness into the organizational culture through training and communications.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and leadership to ensure milestones are achieved.</li><li>Refresh and maintain the risk register and associated profiles annually.</li><li>Provide advisory input on emerging risks, mitigation strategies, and performance metrics.</li></ul><br> <b>Requirements</b><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Public Policy, or related discipline.</li><li>7+ years of ERM or operational risk experience, ideally in the utilities or infrastructure sector.</li><li>ISO 31000, RIMS-CRMP, or equivalent certification.</li><li>Strong skills in governance documentation, risk mitigation planning, and stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Familiarity with utilities industry compliance requirements.</li></ul><br> <b>Skill(s)</b><br><ul><li>Risk identification and mitigation strategy</li><li>Governance policy drafting and documentation control</li><li>Data-driven risk prioritization and reporting</li><li>Stakeholder training and facilitation</li></ul><br> <b>Benefits</b><br><ul><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>PTO and 11 federal holidays</li><li>401(k) with employer match</li></ul><p><br></p><br> <b>Travel</b><br>None<br>
