Accountant for a SaaS Financial Company

<p><strong>Position Title:</strong> Offshore Accountant </p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Remote</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time</p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p><p><strong>About the Company</strong></p><p>We are a fast-growing fintech startup in the banking sector, currently expanding our service offerings to include accounting solutions for our banking clients.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a dedicated Offshore Accountant/Bookkeeper. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level, with the potential to help shape the future of the team and grow alongside the business.</p><p>You will be working closely with our in-house CPA (who leads this function), focusing initially on core accounting tasks with a clear path to expand your scope as we scale.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>● Perform bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail</p><p>● Manage monthly closes and ensure timely reporting</p><p>● Support future services such as bill pay, invoicing, taxes, and general back-office accounting functions</p><p>● Collaborate directly with the internal team to build efficient workflows and client support systems</p><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>● 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong knowledge of accrual accounting and US GAAP</p><p>● Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must</p><p>● Experience with Xero is a plus, but not required</p><p>● Experience in US tax is a plus, but not required</p><p>● Familiarity with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or similar platforms is a bonus</p><p>● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment</p><p>● Self-starter who can take initiative, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly to evolving needs</p>
