Join a dynamic team in Medford, Oregon, working to improve the educational experience of students with autism. We are seeking a qualified Autism Education Consultant for a full-time, school-based role supporting K–12 students across the district.
This position is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about inclusive practices and data-driven behavioral support in public education.
Responsibilities:
• Provide consultation and direct support to school teams and families for students with autism spectrum disorder
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to inform individualized programming
• Develop and assist in implementing behavior strategies and IEP-based goals
• Work collaboratively with educators, staff, and parents to create meaningful interventions
• Offer training and support to classroom teams as needed
Requirements:
• Oregon TSPC license required for Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, or Speech-Language Pathologists
• Alternatively, BCBAs with at least 3 years of relevant school-based autism experience will be considered
• Demonstrated ability to support students across a wide range of functioning levels
• Strong understanding of public school systems and individualized education plans
Preferred Skills:
• Skilled in evaluation and impact assessments for ASD
• Experience with both general education and self-contained classroom environments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
