3D Animation Director

A visionary leader is required to drive the animation vision and inspire a team of animators in the game development industry.

About the Role:

• Lead and inspire a team of animators
• Define and drive the animation vision with Creative and Art Directors
• Ensure delivery of top-tier, AAA quality animations
• Manage and develop the animation pipeline from concept to implementation
• Involvement in motion capture shoots and managing external vendors

The ideal candidate will have experience in leadership roles within animation, deep understanding of gameplay systems, and proficiency in animation tools and technologies. A collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with design and engineering teams are essential. Experience with motion capture pipelines, Maya, and real-time game engines is necessary.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in animation tools and technologies
• Cinematic tools in Unreal Engine (optional)
