The company offers a range of products designed for DevOps and FinOps teams responsible for managing cloud usage within organizations.</p><p><strong>Position Overview -</strong></p><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Backend Engineer</strong> to join our team and drive the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing services that support large-scale applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your ownership will include:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain backend services, written in GO, APIs, and microservices architecture.</li><li>Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability to support large-scale applications.</li><li>Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless integrations.</li><li>Implement best practices for backend security, observability, and infrastructure automation.</li><li>Work with cloud-native technologies, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and distributed systems.</li><li>Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and testing.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production incidents.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while conducting code reviews.</li></ul><br> <b>Requirements</b><br><p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in backend development.</li><li>Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (Go, Python, Node.js).</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.</li><li>Expertise in working with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and service orchestration - Huge advantage!&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Coralogix, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud-native workloads.</li><li>Experience with <strong>infrastructure as code</strong> (Terraform, Helm).</li><li>Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why is it exciting being a Zester-&nbsp;</strong></p><p>At Zesty, we're a team of driven, forward-thinkers passionate about pushing the boundaries of cloud optimization.
