We're looking for a well-rounded team member to contribute to digital transformation efforts across several Federal agencies. These initiatives aim to provide highly intuitive low-code/no-code development environments to enable rapid configuration, modification, and deployment of new case types, workflows, business rules, and user interfaces.<strong> Come join our team to help transform the business process management landscape in the Federal arena.</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and functional requirements specific to Appian-based systems and workflows.</li><li>Translate business needs into Appian application requirements, including process models, interfaces, data types, and business rules.</li><li>Configure Appian application components, including user roles, security models, site pages, navigation, and integrations with external systems.</li><li>Create detailed user stories, Epics, and acceptance criteria aligned with Appian’s development framework</li><li>Serve as a liaison between business users and Appian developers, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.</li><li>Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) within Appian development teams.</li><li>Maintain and prioritize the Appian project backlog in tools such as Jira and Miro, ensuring clarity, completeness, and timely updates.</li><li>Support Appian sprint planning and PI planning by refining features, defining implementation stories, and managing dependencies across teams.</li><li>Coordinate and execute UAT efforts for Appian applications, including preparing test documentation, facilitating tester engagement, and validating that releases meet business objectives.</li><li>Facilitate triage of reported issues in Appian environments, tracking resolutions and escalating critical blockers to delivery teams.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation in Confluence, including decision logs, release notes, system diagrams, and known issues related to Appian systems.</li><li>Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, team capacity) to inform planning and stakeholder communication.</li><li>Support DevOps and delivery teams through Appian deployments, proof of concept phases, and post-release monitoring.</li><li>Collaborate with QA, business users, and developers to validate Appian implementations meet business and technical expectations.</li><li>Train end users on Appian enhancements and features following release cycles.</li><li>Serve as a key contributor to team retrospectives, backlog reviews, and continuous improvement efforts within the Appian development lifecycle.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>TAG: #LI-I4DM</p><br> <b>Requirements</b><br><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years experience as a Business Analyst</li><li>Minimum 2 years experience on Appian projects</li><li>Proven experience gathering, documenting, and refining business and technical requirements for Appian-based systems.</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience with Appian components, including process models, Custom data types (CDTs), SAIL interfaces, Security and access control configuration, record types, and Appian Data Fabric.</li><li>Good knowledge and experience with BPM best practices</li><li>Experience with configuration of App</li><li>Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technical teams, ensuring alignment throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle.</li><li>Hands-on experience managing a product backlog using Jira or a similar backlog management tool.</li><li>Skilled in leading Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.</li><li>Experience facilitating requirement gathering sessions (e.g., Joint Application Design - JAD) and translating findings into actionable tasks and deliverables.</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Appian Analyst or Developer certification</li></ul><p><br></p><br> <b>Benefits</b><br>None<br>
