About the position
As a Senior Data Analyst within the Cyber Defense & Engineering team at TikTok U.S. Data Security (USDS), you will play a crucial role in enhancing security tools and identifying vulnerabilities to protect U.S. user data. In this role, you will lead the data analysis function from end-to-end, which includes gathering requirements, conducting detailed data analysis, identifying data sources, creating schema diagrams, and calculating metrics. Building data pipelines, optimizing ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity will be key components of your responsibilities. Responsibilities
• Leading the data analysis function end-to-end, from requirements gathering to report/dashboard delivery.

• Conducting detailed data analysis, identifying data sources, and creating schema diagrams and metrics calculations.

Requirements
• At least 3-5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or Computer Science.

• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).

• Excellent SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Technical skills to automate data pipelines for building dashboards.

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Great communication and presentation skills.
