As a Project Manager, R&D, you will lead and direct moderate complexity projects from initiation to completion, interfacing with all stakeholders including end users. You will drive cross-functional projects to bring new products to market for our Sports Medicine business, ensuring they meet clinical needs and quality expectations. This role is accountable for timeline, budget, resources, and risk management, while keeping senior leadership informed of project status. Through your leadership, influence, and communication, you will inspire confidence in the team’s ability to execute. You will need to live within commuting distance to our Denver, Colorado office. You will need to be in the office 3 days a week and can work from home on other days.
What you will do
• Lead project teams to bring new products to market for our Sports Medicine business, providing technical and project management expertise.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to meet design control requirements and follow business processes.
• Drive projects with strategic focus, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing creative, systemic solutions.
• Communicate effectively at all levels, building credibility through proactive relationship and stakeholder management.
• Keep senior leadership informed of project status and support portfolio investment strategy.
• Promote a culture of project management and accountability, engaging team members to deliver results and inspire others.
• Proactively manage and mitigate project risks, facilitating timely and data-driven decision-making to keep projects on track.
What you need
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Biomedical engineering or related field
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience in R&D and Project Management
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous hands-on design or related engineering experience
• Experience working in a regulated environment; knowledge of medical device quality systems, manufacturing and design controls is preferred
• PMP or equivalent preferred
• Microsoft Project preferred
$96,400 - $158,00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Apply tot his job
