About the position
The Data Analytics Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Nuclear Technology Solutions (NTS) Data Analytics team by providing application and programming support. This position involves collaborating with business partners to develop and maintain reporting applications, databases, and data models that enhance decision-making processes through data analysis and trend identification. The role requires compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations and involves a hybrid work schedule with a preference for physical presence at the Energy Center.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, and performance metrics to support key business decisions.

• Engage in cross-functional projects, utilizing advanced data modeling to inform strategic decisions and identify optimization opportunities.

• Design and implement technical processes to address business challenges.
,
• Manage the design and delivery of reporting products and requests: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
,
• Uphold data accuracy and reporting quality through comprehensive policies and processes.
,
• Optimize processes for data handling, validation, mining, and visualization to meet business objectives.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a non-technical degree with 6+ years of experience in Information Technology/Computer Science.

• Proficiency with SQL in both Microsoft and Oracle environments.
,
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services, DAX, Visual Studio, Report Builder, Qlik, and Power BI.
,
• Experience with Databricks, SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure AI Services is a plus.
,
• Programming experience in C# and Python is preferred.
,
• Demonstrated success in setting up reporting standards and strategies for data upkeep and collection.
