Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Agent NY, NJ or CT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right insurance policies to meet their needs. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen understanding of the insurance market, and the ability to analyze customer requirements effectively. As an Insurance Agent, you will play a crucial role in building lasting relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
Duties
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Analyze client information and assess risk factors to recommend appropriate insurance products.
• Market various insurance policies to potential clients through networking and outreach efforts.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance contracts with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in HIPAA compliance to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in compliance with company policies.
Requirements
• Proven experience in sales or retail sales; experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
• Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed recommendations.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for clients and the company.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to meeting client needs and achieving sales goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in insurance is advantageous.
• Firm will sponsor FINRA licenses Series 6 or 7,63 and 66 or 65
