About the position
The Strategy Consultant VI - Consumer Experience will report to the Sr. Dir. of Consumer Experience Performance Improvement and be responsible for supporting rapid improvement and overall performance improvement efforts for the National Consumer Experience team. Experience in performance improvement methodologies strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
• Promotes learning in others by communicating information and providing advice to drive projects forward; builds collaborative, cross-functional relationships.

• Fosters open dialogue amongst team members.

• Drives the execution of multiple work streams by identifying member and operational needs; translates business strategy into actionable business requirements; develops and updates new procedures and policies.

• Gains cross-functional support for objectives and priorities; determines and carries out processes and methodologies; solves highly complex issues; escalates and resolves issues as appropriate; sets standards and measures progress.

• Develops work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; coordinates, obtains and distributes resources.

• Removes obstacles that impact performance; guides performance and develops contingency plans accordingly; influences the completion of project tasks by others.

• Analyzes and interprets market data by developing and implementing a plan to address highly complex or critical research questions and test hypotheses with expert knowledge in several areas of data collection and analysis.

• Oversees and conducts moderately or to highly complex or critical quantitative and qualitative analyses and investigating alternative hypotheses.

• Validates, interprets and synthesizes key findings, conclusions, and recommendations for the future for senior leadership.
,
• Facilitates process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to adapt processes to improve return on investment (ROI), operations, service quality, and results for company-wide initiatives.
,
• Utilizes expert knowledge of business operations to oversee and conduct the implementation of best practices across the organization.
,
• Leads the adoption of best practices and future innovations.
,
• Effectively manages projects and programs by overseeing the development of highly complex project proposals, including establishing objectives, key stakeholders, milestones, and providing deep technical leadership across programs.
,
• Oversees progress on program deliverables in alignment with greater business strategy and key business outcomes across functions and organizations.
,
• Demonstrates expert knowledge in, and identifying and implementing new methodologies to complete initiatives independently.
,
• Oversees the execution of project plan, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and facilitating long term organizational learning.
,
• Proactively maintains open streams of communication by fostering trusting relationships to better navigate and act as a champion for the diverse and complex needs of stakeholders across the organizational landscape.

• Identifies and resolves highly complex or critical issues or risks to strategic program implementation.

• Fosters strategic partnerships with senior leadership to consult and influence the development and refinement of key priorities and strategy.

• Proactively and persuasively drives the communication of strategic issues and recommendations to senior leadership, and across and upward in the organization.

• Contributes to the development and execution of business strategy by developing and implementing state-of-the-art strategic plans based on business case and expertise in several fields of health care marketplace.

• Provides expert consultation on complex problem scoping and overseeing the processes and resources needed.

• Communicates and presents the best identified strategic option(s) to senior leadership based on complex problem scoping, external marketplace research, and analysis of organizational and external strategic approaches.

• Provides expert consultation on challenging business goals and overseeing processes and resources needed to accomplish them.

• Integrates critical knowledge across areas to inform strategic plan and intended outcomes.

• Develops and implements state-of-the-art strategies to mitigate highly complex or critical barriers, constraints, and risks to execution.

• Oversees strategic direction in response to a changing environment.
Requirements
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management, forecasting, planning, consulting, strategy development and/or execution, or a directly related field.
,
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
,
• Bachelors degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Economics, Finance, or related field AND minimum nine (9) years of experience in strategic planning, strategy facilitation, execution of large-scope strategic projects or a directly related field OR minimum twelve (12) years of experience in strategic planning, strategy facilitation, execution of large-scope strategic projects or a directly related field.
Nice-to-haves
• Three (3) years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
