If you’re a seasoned attorney ready for a new chapter, one where your legal background becomes a platform for thought leadership, this role is built for you. We’re looking for a legal professional who’s ready to step into a strategic, subject-matter expert role in the growing field of pay equity. At Trusaic, you’ll leverage your legal training to help shape how our platform and clients navigate global pay transparency and equity laws. You’ll work with product, marketing, and client-facing teams to translate regulations into frameworks, guidance, and educational content, all while establishing yourself as a recognized expert in this space.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze global pay equity and wage transparency laws.
• Develop internal frameworks and guidance aligned with current legal standards.
• Stay on top of all relevant regulatory affairs, including emerging legislation and legal trends.
• Draft legal content for client-facing materials, internal documentation, and educational resources.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and client-facing teams to embed legal accuracy into platform functionality.
• Engage in legislative affairs, promoting fairness in workplace compensation.
• Support onboarding and education for clients navigating regulatory requirements
• Assist with knowledge-sharing efforts such as content development, webinars, or events, as applicable.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing strategies to address complex pay equity challenges
• Advise internal stakeholders and clients on the legal interpretation of compensation practices
• Maintain awareness of key legal trends and regulatory developments
• Represent Trusaic in discussions with clients, industry groups, and external stakeholders

Qualifications:
• Must be admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• 2-4 years of legal experience, with a strong emphasis on collections and litigation.
• Basic understanding of negotiation and contract drafting.
• Adept at handling multiple tasks, attentive to detail, and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Self-driven, flexible, and coachable, with a strong commitment to personal and professional development.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Salary Range:

$140k-$180K (with room for growth based on performance and contribution)
