<p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Job Description</b></u></p><p><span>The ideal candidate will possess a terminal degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field, with a strong emphasis on IT management. This position is designed for experienced professionals who are passionate about teaching in a Christian higher education setting and mentoring graduate students in advanced IT management concepts, strategies, and practices.</span><br><br>.</p><ul><li>Develop and deliver course content for graduate-level Information Technology Management classes.</li><li>Provide instruction in areas such as IT strategy, project management, cybersecurity management, IT governance, and digital transformation.</li><li>Engage students through interactive and innovative teaching methods.</li><li>Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.</li><li>Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.</li><li>Stay current with advancements in IT management practices and technologies and incorporate them into the curriculum.</li><li>Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure course content aligns with the program’s objectives and goals.</li><li>Provide academic advising and support to students as needed.</li><li>Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and review.</li><li>Support the institution’s Christian mission, including attendance a chapel services, scheduled or called meetings, commencement programs, and Faculty Forum meetings.</li><li>Maintains a strong interest in the pursuit of knowledge and shares it with students and scholars.</li><li>Promotes the discipline on and off campus and attracts students to the field.</li><li>Participates in academic unit meetings and cooperates with other members of the Faculty.</li><li>Identifies with professional organizations and professionals of the discipline at all educational levels.</li><li>Assists in recruiting new Faculty members within the academic unit.</li><li>Assists students by continually monitoring and evaluating students’ progress and making appropriate referrals to academic and personal support services, as necessary, to meet student needs.</li><li>Demonstrates excellence in teaching.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Terminal degree (Ph.D., D.Sc., DBA, or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in IT management, including but not limited to IT strategy, project management, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.</li><li>Prior teaching experience at the graduate level.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in both in-person and online learning environments.</li><li><div><span>Must be within commuting distance of Los Angeles Education Center (CA Hybrid with Residencies)</span></div></li><li><div><span>Must be within commuting distance of the Louisville Education Center (KY/IN Hybrid with Residences)</span></div></li></ul><p><b>Compensation:</b></p><ul><li>$1000-$1500 per credit hour taught</li></ul>
