Our work spans procurement, logistics, and sustainable food systems—and we’re growing fast.</p><p></p><h3><strong>Role Overview</strong></h3><p>We’re looking for an energetic and resourceful <strong>Business Development Intern</strong> to support market research, lead generation, and partner outreach. This role is ideal for someone passionate about startups, agriculture, and creating meaningful impact through business innovation.</p><p></p><h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul> <li> Identify and research potential B2B and institutional clients (retailers, exporters, processors, etc.) </li> <li> Assist in lead generation, cold outreach, and initial client engagement </li> <li> Support proposals, pitch decks, and client onboarding documentation </li> <li> Track sales funnel activity and help maintain CRM or lead tracking tools </li> <li> Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sourcing, ops) to support new business opportunities </li> <li> Analyze feedback and trends from client interactions to improve outreach strategy </li> </ul><p></p><h3><strong>You Should Have</strong></h3><ul> <li> Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Agri-Business, or related field </li> <li> Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) </li> <li> Basic understanding of agri markets, supply chain, or B2B sales preferred </li> <li> Comfortable with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) </li> <li> Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment </li> </ul><p></p><h3><strong>What You’ll Gain</strong></h3><ul> <li> Hands-on experience in startup-scale business development </li> <li> Exposure to the agri-tech ecosystem and B2B sales strategy </li> <li> Mentorship from experienced growth and partnerships professionals </li> <li> Potential for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on performance</li> </ul>
