About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Developer to design and implement modern data infrastructure and analytics solutions. In this role, you'll take full ownership of the BI development lifecycle—from data integration to dashboard delivery—leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and other modern data tools to drive business insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect Scalable Data Infrastructure: Design and maintain a Microsoft Fabric data warehouse or lakehouse to support enterprise-wide analytics and reporting.
• Build Automated ETL Pipelines: Develop robust, automated data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory (or similar tools) to integrate data from diverse sources such as CRM, ERP, SQL databases, and Excel.
• Develop & Optimize Power BI Solutions: Create semantic models, author complex DAX measures, and build intuitive dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
• Ensure Data Quality & Governance: Implement validation rules, governance frameworks, and refresh schedules to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Translate Business Needs into Data Solutions: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights that align with strategic goals.
• Own the BI Lifecycle: Lead projects end-to-end—from requirements gathering and development to deployment, documentation, and user training.
Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, with 5+ years in Power BI development.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or equivalent modern data platforms.
• Expert-level proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
• Deep understanding of dimensional/star-schema modeling.
• Proven experience building and orchestrating ETL pipelines using ADF, Microsoft Fabric Data Factory, or similar tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL‑300, DP‑203, Microsoft Fabric).
• Python or PySpark experience for advanced data processing.
