We act courageously and are uniquely positioned to be a source of stability in a world of evolving healthcare needs.<br><br>Viatris empowers people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life.<br><br>We do so via:<span>&nbsp; </span><br><br>Access – Providing high quality trusted medicines regardless of geography or circumstance;<br>Leadership – Advancing sustainable operations and innovative solutions to improve patient health; and<span>&nbsp; </span><br>Partnership – Leveraging our collective expertise to connect people to products and services.<span>&nbsp; </span><br>&nbsp;</p><p>Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Accounts Receivable Senior Associate role will make an impact:</p><p></p><p>Key responsibilities for this role include:</p><ul><li><p>Ensure all assigned duties are performed within the guidelines of Viatris's internal controls, policies, and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Develop a solid understanding of customer policies and procedures relating to promotions, rebates, claims and adherence to Customer and/or State agreement’s verbiage.</p></li><li><p>Read and interpret customer and/or state agreements to ensure payments are calculated accurately and contractually compliant.</p></li><li><p>Proactively build in lead time to execute payments within compliance boundaries (due dates).</p></li><li><p>Calculate Customer and/or State payments and prepare required reporting, utilizing various reporting and system tools.</p></li><li><p>Provide Management summary level sales and rebate data along with payment requests.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Provide detailed information to Government Reporting as needed.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Record, track and monitor status of customer payments and respond to customer inquiries on payment status.&nbsp; Ensure the accuracy and integrity of information used in calculations and reporting.</p></li><li><p>Support larger, more complex customer accounts. Reconcile payment variances and trends to resolve customer issues, including collection of customer deductions.</p></li><li><p>Effectively interact with various key internal and external stakeholders, including presentation of customer account status.</p></li><li><p>Leads and/or participates in special projects as assigned. Train new employees as needed.</p></li><li><p>Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies related to promotions, rebates and claims.</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The minimum qualifications for this role are:</p><p></p><p>Knowledge</p><ul><li><p>Must possess extensive knowledge of in job aspects and comprehensive knowledge of other functional areas within the department.</p></li><li><p>Must possess an extensive knowledge of a computer accounting environment.</p></li><li><p>Advanced knowledge of computer functions and Microsoft Office Products.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Skills And Abilities</p><ul><li><p>Must possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to summarize and present large amounts of data in a clear, concise manner; possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships and be a strong team player, with the ability to work with all levels of the company and customer.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Strong computer application skills especially Microsoft Excel and Word.</p></li><li><p>Able to protect confidential and sensitive information.</p></li><li><p>Extensive experience with SAP and Flex preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Supervision</p><ul><li><p>Position functions semi-autonomously.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Education/Experience</p><ul><li><p>Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience.
