Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

<p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to support our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines in a dynamic environment leveraging Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Postgres, and Terraform. In this role, you will participate in automating infrastructure provisioning, managing containerized applications, and maintaining CI/CD workflows to ensure smooth and scalable deployments. You will work closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues, implement best practices, and enhance system reliability and performance across multi-cloud platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative DevOps environment.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in an on-call rotation on a regular basis and respond to incidents reliably and professionally.</li><li dir="ltr">Maintain and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure, employing automation, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform</li><li dir="ltr">Build and maintain our code pipelines, designing and building automation in order to enable agile software development, using self-service where possible</li><li dir="ltr">Collaborate efficiently and effectively with other team members and Software Engineers to solve complex problems.</li><li>Quickly absorb context and knowledge while ramping up.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>4-6 years experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar role</li><li>Experience with cloud provider platforms such as AWS or GCP</li><li>Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL)<br></li><li>Familiarity with Kubernetes</li><li>Experience with GitOps CI/CD tools (e.g., Harness, Argo, Flux, Jenkins)</li><li>Familiarity with declarative infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)<br></li><li dir="ltr">Exposure to logging, monitoring, metrics collection, and observability tools (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch)<br></li><li>Collaboration with other engineers working primarily in PST</li></ul><p></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Nice to Haves:</strong></p><ul><li dir="ltr">Experience with software development and automation in languages beyond shell scripting (e.g., golang, python, elixir, java, etc)</li><li dir="ltr">Experience with platform development of tools for development, staging, and integration environments</li><li dir="ltr">Experience with debugging performance or networking issues in applications running on Kubernetes</li><li>Experience with audit compliance (e.g., SOX, SOC2, ISO27001, PCI DSS)<br></li><li dir="ltr">Working knowledge of UNIX-based Operating Systems</li><li dir="ltr">Computer Science or Engineering degree</li></ul>
