PhD Researcher (Parkinson’s Disease) for Literature Review + NIH SBIR Letter of Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a PhD-level researcher with deep expertise in Parkinson’s disease to assist with two key objectives:
• Conduct a focused literature review on non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s, with an emphasis on:
• Bulbar dysfunction and aspiration pneumonia
• Speech therapy interventions
• Medication adherence challenges
• Digital health and mobile interventions for Parkinson’s
• Provide a professional Letter of Support for an NIH Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grant application. This letter should:
• Validate the scientific basis and unmet need
• Speak to the feasibility and innovation of the proposed approach (details will be shared privately under NDA)
• Highlight how your domain expertise aligns with the project's objectives

Requirements:
• PhD in Neuroscience, Neurology, Movement Disorders, or related field
• Proven research/publication history in Parkinson’s disease
• Understanding of SBIR grants (a plus)
• Willingness to sign an NDA and/or provide a brief template letter to modify
• Strong communication and professional writing skills
