The associate </span><span>brokers'</span><span> primary duties are to review insurance submissions </span><span>and</span><span> applications to evaluate, qualify </span><span>and</span><span> market individuals and groups for insurance</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><b><span>How You Will Contribute:</span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Examine application forms, inspection reports, insurance maps, and loss runs to assess risk factors such as ISO classifications, applicant financials, age, occupation, accident history, and property condition.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Review company records to </span><span>determine</span><span> the amount of insurance in force on single or closely related risks, evaluating potential losses from catastrophes or excessive coverage.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Broker risks by ensuring the completion of required documentation, obtaining necessary quotes and binders in writing, issuing policies accurately, making state filings, and ensuring taxes are paid </span><span>in accordance with</span><span> state laws.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Secure payments on risks bound or written to </span><span>maintain</span><span> proper financial controls.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Review, analyze, and qualify risks </span><span>submitted</span><span> by Producers, evaluate submissions for premium and terms, and issue indications, quotes, and binders, </span><span>utilizing</span><span> inspection companies when necessary.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Develop and </span><span>maintain</span><span> carrier and brokerage relationships to place specific risks and grow a book of business.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Market and meet with retail agency customers to develop and cultivate relationships, fostering new business opportunities.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Understand company facilities and broker risks when needed to successfully negotiate placements, managing quote-to-bind activities and production results.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Service existing business, generate new business, and prioritize tasks to effectively manage workload.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Train and guide processors and assistants, reviewing submissions for accuracy and completeness, and developing their brokering skills while reducing clerical workload</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p></p></div><div><p><b><span>Licenses and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Certifications: </span></span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>P&C State licensed. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>CIC, CRIS and CPCU candidate, thorough familiarity with applicable ISO manuals, forms, rating plans, policy forms i.e., coverages, exclusions, conditions, and terms. </span></span><span><span>(Preferred)</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><b><span>Skills & Experience to Be Successful:</span></b><span><span> </span></span><br><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree (B.
