<p>Builders Capital is looking for an <strong>Accounts Payable Clerk</strong> to join our growing Accounting team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of our accounts payable process. We’re here to help build those homes, one project at a time.</p><p><strong> What You’ll Do: </strong></p><ul> <li>Review and classify invoices for approval and proper GL Coding in a high volume environment.</li> <li>Process vendor invoices for approval and payment.</li> <li>Assist in processing weekly check runs.</li> <li>Perform month end procedures which include GL reconciliations and loan reconciliations.</li> <li>Set up new vendors, including acquiring W-9s.</li> <li>Timely follow up with vendors on discrepancies; ensure timely follow through with Controller on items needing attention (including ensuring payments are made by appropriate due dates).</li> <li>Communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with suppliers, team and management.</li> <li>Special projects and analysis as requested.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. </li> <li>3+ years’ of experience in similar accounting role with a heavy focus in Accounts Payable.</li> <li>Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities with understanding of cash flow concepts and principles. </li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li> <li>Experience with NetSuite preferred but not required.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to communicate financial concepts to business leaders, both orally and in writing.</li> <li>High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple objectives at any one time.</li> <li>Willing to assume duties and projects to further the goals of the company.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Why You’ll Love It Here:</strong></p><p>At Builders Capital, we believe in taking care of our team.
