This role is fully remote; however, the individual must reside within a commutable distance to any Stryker location in the US.

What you will do
• Serve as a key business partner to Divisional Finance and Operations teams supporting them in Financial Compliance, Internal Control, and Technical Accounting matters
• Lead and develop a team of Financial Compliance and Technical accounting professionals
• Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of key controls within the Joint Replacement and Trauma & Extremities divisions of Stryker
• Advise on and implement newly issued Corporate Finance Policies and accounting guidance (US GAAP)
• Engage with Internal and External Audit teams and Finance Business Partners, functioning as an extension of the divisional team, proactively communicating and leading meetings to resolve issues and implement improvements
• Oversee the execution of key divisional controls such as revenue recognition, balance sheet reviews, key account determination, etc.
• Partner with Commercial Finance, Selling, Sales Operations and Customer Service to perform accounting and reporting related to contractual arrangements from inception of contract through contract expiry, as well as certain reserve accruals including variable consideration
• Partner with Finance Centers and Centers of Excellence on divisional accounting and compliance related matters



What you need

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA
• 10+ years’ experience in Accounting including Audit Experience
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley, PCAOB Auditing Standards, and US GAAP

Preferred:
• Big 4 Experience

$129,600 - $286,500 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Apply tot his job
