Copyeditor
We are seeking versatile and detail-oriented Copyeditors to support our team in maintaining high-quality, consistent content across report documents for a large project. The ideal candidates will have experience editing in both the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace and the flexibility to work on any day at any time. This role demands the ability to manage tight deadlines while adhering strictly to style and branding guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Copyediting Across Formats
• Edit and proofread documents in both the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, ensuring clarity, accuracy, consistency, and impeccable grammar.
• Adherence to Style and Branding Guidelines
• Maintain consistency with style guide, voice, and branding standards across all edited content.
• Flexibility and Availability
• Be available to edit documents at any time to meet evolving project needs.
• Self-Driven High Performance
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects at once, adjusting to shifting priorities and urgent deadlines.
• Collaboration and Communication
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and project managers to ensure that the final product is on target to meet the deadline and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in copyediting, with a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and efficiently.
• Excellent understanding of grammar, syntax, punctuation, and style
• Proficiency in both the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Ability to edit across different content types and formats
• Ability to adhere strictly to established style and branding guides
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in situations with tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with CMOS and TEA style and branding standards a plus
• Experience with remediating documents to meet 508 accessibility requirements a plus
