About the position
The Nursing Instructor at Care United Home Health LLC is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to nursing students, including Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Registered Nurses (RNs), in both classroom and clinical settings. This role is crucial in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals by effectively communicating complex medical concepts and ensuring students meet educational standards.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.

• Teach nursing courses in the home health industry.

• Implement skills check-off for students.

• Evaluate student performance through assessments, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the home health industry.

• Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the nursing program and address student needs.

• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and community outreach initiatives.
Requirements
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred).

• 2 years experience as a RN nurse.

• Valid RN license with experience in hospital and/or home health settings.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to supervise and mentor students effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.

• Commitment to promoting student success and maintaining high educational standards.

• Previous teaching experience or nurse management experience is highly desirable.
