Job Description:
I’m looking for a sharp, experienced audio technician who can help me fully dial in my audio setup so I get zero background noise, tight vocal sound, and clean signal routing across Zoom, CRM calls, and screen recordings.
You must understand broadcast mic chains, routing virtual audio, and real-world noise control — not just sliders and presets.
We will do this over a Zoom or Cell call.
I can also buy whatever else I need to make it work.
Here’s what I’m using right now:
Gear:
RØDE PodMic
Cloudlifter CL-1
RØDECaster Pro II
HD 280 Pro headphones
Boom Arm (RØDE PSA1)
MacBook Pro (M3)
SonnetTech USB-C hub
Software/Apps:
Krisp.ai (for AI noise suppression)
Zoom (student coaching calls)
Web-based CRM (browser-based seller calls)
Calls are made through the CRM on the same computer
What I need you to do:
Eliminate all outside noise pickup (keyboard clacks, dogs barking, landscapers, breathing, room reverb, etc.)
Optimize RØDECaster Pro II channel settings: noise gate, EQ, compressor, de-esser, exciter, high-pass filter, and routing
Integrate Krisp.ai without overprocessing or signal loss
Ensure seller calls (from CRM) are audible to Zoom students via computer audio sharing or routing
Set up Zoom so students are always muted and can hear both sides of my seller calls — with no echo
Review and adjust mic placement, boom position, room setup, gain staging
Bonus: help me create a simple daily checklist or toggle flow I can follow
