About the position
Home Instead is hiring a Part-Time Scheduler to join our amazing team! This role is an important member of the scheduling team to ensure our clients receive the in-home care they need, and we have committed to providing. The Scheduler will be responsible for ensuring that all shifts are filled with appropriate Caregivers in a timely manner, supporting the overall work of the Scheduling Team which provides coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The position requires attentiveness to both Caregiver and Client needs in scheduling efforts, as well as the ability to resolve issues in a professional and productive manner when they arise. Outstanding customer service is a key component of this role, as is the ability to effectively respond to unanticipated challenges and bring effective solutions to clients. The Scheduler will also utilize the computer system properly, including documentation, schedule changes, and tasks, ensuring all documentation and communication is clear, concise, and correct.
Responsibilities
• Ensure all shifts are filled with an appropriate Caregiver in a timely manner in their assigned timeframe

• Support the overall work, as needed, of the Scheduling Team which provides coverage - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to the organization
,
• Be attentive to Caregiver and Client needs in scheduling efforts
,
• Resolve issues in a professional and productive manner when they arise and provide outstanding customer service
,
• Effectively respond to unanticipated challenges and bring effective solutions to clients
,
• Utilize the computer system properly including documentation, schedule changes and tasks and ensure all documentation and communication is clear, concise and correct
Requirements
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, customer service, and problem-solving skills required
