Remote, USA Full Time Immediate Start
We’re GenAI.Labs, a specialized technical consultancy driven by bold ideas and unrestrained curiosity. Our team tackles complex, cutting-edge problems, partnering with companies like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Google on everything from revolutionary medical imaging models to breakthrough financial prediction platforms to immersive websites and applications for exploding startups. We’re dreamers who think big, aim high, and love solving the unsolvable.

At GenAI.Labs, you’ll work on innovative, high-impact projects and have the opportunity to shape core product experiences within an award-winning company. Join us in building transformative AI solutions and leave a real mark across industries.

Role Overview

We’re looking for someone as genuinely curious about technology as we are—someone who loves exploring new ideas and has the technical foundation to bring them to life. In this role, you’ll spend most of your time working on generative AI systems: building LLM pipelines, experimenting with RAG and agentic workflows, and helping shape how intelligence gets delivered to users. You’ll also contribute to the backend and build simple UIs that bring your work into the real world. If you’re excited by fast learning, hands-on problem solving, and building things that feel just a little ahead of their time, reach out to us.

Key Responsibilities
• Build & deploy generative-AI pipelines (LLM, RAG, agentic workflows) in Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Design scalable microservices & APIs—containerize with Docker, deploy on AWS/GCP, and wire in observability.
• Implement user-facing dashboards or mini-apps (React/Next.js or similar) to surface model outputs and analytics.
• Own end-to-end data flow—ingestion, feature engineering, inference, and performance monitorin
• Collaborate in code reviews, architecture sessions, and client stand-ups with senior engineers, PMs, and researchers
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent real-world proof you don’t need one.
• 2+ years of professional software-engineering experience (internships, contracts, or full-time roles).
• Strong command of Python, TypeScript, or Go and modern backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Express, Fiber, etc.).
• Solid grounding in RESTful design, Git workflows, testing, and CI/CD.
• Curiosity, autonomy, and the itch to ship working software fast.

Nice-to-Have
• Hands-on work with vector databases, prompt-orchestration frameworks, or agentic task managers.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, serverless, or event-driven systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, WebSockets).
• Familiarity with React/Next.js (or comparable) for building functional UIs—design perfection not required, usability is.
• Open-source contributions or public demos that blend ML with production engineering.

Perks
• High-impact code—your work goes live and is shipped to renowned organizations, not into a drawer.
• Mentorship from staff-level data scientists and engineers; regular growth sessions and a curriculum focused on your learning goals
• Remote flexibility with async-friendly culture.
• Budget for courses, papers, or conferences that level up your craft.
• A clear path to convert into a full-time role if there is a strong fit.

How to Apply
