The Strategy team acts as the pulse of the organization, charting the course for future growth and market leadership through insightful analysis, innovative thinking, and strategic planning. We identify, assess, and help drive strategic initiatives that propel the company towards achieving its long-term goals, while we navigate the complexities of an ever-evolving business landscape. As a key member of the team, you will develop the annual plan, own and execute initiatives, improve operational efficiency, conduct in-depth research and analysis to provide recommendations to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
• Support and influence the development of TCGplayer's annual strategic plan, including facilitating workshops, conducting research, and synthesizing findings into strategic objectives and actionable plans

• Lead market research and analysis to identify macro trends, industry trends, opportunities, and threats
,
• Collaborate with key internal leaders cross-functionally, providing competitive and business insights, business case development, and project support to develop and execute strategic priorities
,
• Develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to create business cases that solve for critical business issues, and partner with stakeholders to bring those insights to action
,
• Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo
,
• Effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including senior leadership
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience. An MBA is a plus
,
• 8+ years of experience in consulting, banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategy
,
• A deep understanding of eCommerce, marketplaces, or collectibles
,
• Intellectual curiosity and long-term sustained growth mindset
,
• Bias to action with track record of getting results
,
• A knack for modeling and data-driven decision-making
,
• Comfort equally with 10,000 feet and on-the-ground perspectives
,
• Influential approach to garner support and advocate for strategic direction & resources
