In this role, you will be responsible for adhering to Integer's values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), FDA regulations, and other regulatory standards. You will construct engineering samples and prototypes according to specifications, assist in organizing engineering build notes, and support engineers in creating build documentation. Your role will also involve providing valuable feedback to design engineers through various reviews and inspections, ensuring that all parts and assemblies conform to specifications. You will be expected to read and understand technical drawings and schematics, support initial production builds, and transition projects from engineering to production. This includes assembling component parts, operating both manual and automatic machines, and conducting inspections to ensure quality standards are met. You will complete necessary documentation per Good Documented Practices (GDP) and identify any quality non-conformances that arise during the process. Additionally, you will participate in team activities aimed at process improvement and customer satisfaction, while performing other duties as required.

Responsibilities
• Adhere to Integer's values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements.

• Construct engineering samples and prototypes to specifications with direction from the Engineering team.
,
• Assist in organizing engineering build notes and documentation from all prototype builds.
,
• Support Engineers in the creation of build documentation.
,
• Provide value-add feedback to design engineers through post-build reviews, design reviews, and documentation reviews.
,
• Read and understand drawings, specifications, schematics, and sketches.
,
• Support initial production builds and transition from engineering to production.
,
• Assemble component parts as per print.
,
• Utilize both manual and automatic machine operation.
,
• Visually and/or dimensionally inspect parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications.
,
• Complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documented Practices (GDP).
,
• Identify and escalate quality non-conformances.
,
• Set up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per work instructions or as dictated by the product configuration.
,
• Participate in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
,
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
,
• 3 years related work experience and/or 3-5 years light assembly experience in a regulated industry required; medical device experience preferred.
,
• Associate's degree or above with a minimum of 0-3 years of experience.
,
• Excellent communication skills required.
,
• Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices required.
,
• Certification for industry-specific assembly requirements such as IPC soldering standards for the medical device and Military markets desired.
,
• Technical training in welding, material science, and one-year related quality experience preferred.
,
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction and/or available documentation.
,
• Must possess the ability to recognize obvious defects in workmanship.
,
• Demonstrates competency in multiple critical assembly processes.
,
• Demonstrate ability to be flexible; work independently and in a production-line setting and in multiple locations within the facility.
,
• Ability to work with a variety of equipment and instruments such as Hot boxes, Ovens, Split die bonders, Cath-Tip/tipping machines, Soldering irons, and Injection Molders.
,
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office products.

• Certification for industry-specific assembly requirements such as IPC soldering standards for the medical device and Military markets desired.
