In this role, you’ll design and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to enhance the lives of children, adolescents, and adults across diverse settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Behavioral Assessments
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify challenging behaviors and develop data-driven intervention strategies.
• Treatment Planning
Design individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address target behaviors and build functional skills in home, school, and community environments.
• Implementation & Supervision
Oversee BIP implementation by training and supervising behavior technicians and support staff. Ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of interventions.
• Data-Driven Adjustments
Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor progress and refine treatment plans as needed.
• Parent & Staff Training
Equip family members, caregivers, and team members with the skills and tools needed to ensure intervention success and generalization across settings.
• Collaboration
Partner with healthcare providers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to align strategies and optimize outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance
Maintain accurate, timely documentation to meet state, federal, and insurance requirements.
Qualifications
• Certification: Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a BCBA in clinical, home, or school environments. Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in creating data-driven treatment plans, coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Licensure: Additional licensure may be required based on state regulations.
