About the position
The Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) is seeking a Customer Testing Analyst/Senior to provide essential testing support for Retail and Wholesale financial services applications. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and integrity of testing services for both internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and performing systems integration testing, troubleshooting, and analysis, as well as production system implementation activities involving Federal Reserve financial services solutions and customer end-user systems. This includes creating test files and messages, configuring, staging, and delivering files via testing channels. In this position, you will actively engage with customers to understand their testing needs and represent the Voice of the Customer (VOC) for product development. You will collaborate with customers to meet established service level agreements, deadlines, and quality measures while consulting on their setup, configuration, and testing alignment with FRFS requirements. The role also involves seeking opportunities to simplify and improve processes and procedures, troubleshooting moderately complex issues related to systems integration and configuration, and providing support for various testing activities, including Business Continuity and Operational Readiness Testing. The hours of coverage for this position are from 7:30 AM ET to 5:30 PM ET, with minimal after-hours needs, and team members can expect to work at least one Saturday per month. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring regular on-site attendance based on specific district policies. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with external financial institutions and provide exceptional testing and customer service, contributing to a collaborative and innovative culture within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and perform systems integration testing, troubleshooting, and analysis for financial services applications.

• Consult with customers on setup, configuration, testing, and alignment to FRFS requirements.

• Troubleshoot moderately complex issues related to systems integration and configuration, including researching and documenting issues.

• Provide Saturday support for customers performing Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) and regular testing in DIT environments.

• Participate in projects or workgroups to collaborate on improvement initiatives, including hosting meetings and documenting business requirements.

• Support testing activities such as Business Continuity, Operational Readiness, and application conversions/enhancements.
Requirements
• 2-5 years of experience supporting customers with a record of providing outstanding service.
,
• BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience.
,
• Prior work experience supporting testing initiatives.
,
• Experience with experiential (user) testing and working with internal and external parties.
,
• Understanding of payments systems or systems with equivalent complexity required.
,
• Prior experience working with Agile methodologies desired.
,
• Knowledge of key support tools and applications such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Fedline is highly preferred.

• Ability to quickly grasp in-depth understanding of procedures and automated systems.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
