Location: Remote In Southern California (LA, OC, SD)
Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Administrator/Help Desk Engineer to provide a high level of support across help desk, systems integration, hands-on knowledge of cyber security protocols and an in-depth understanding of the Microsoft office environment. Microsoft certifications are a plus.
The right candidate will be motivated, a self starter, have a proven track record of successful IT Consulting and team leadership and experience providing support across all levels of an organization and handling multiple clients.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
• Planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting all applications and hardware
• Ability to communicate with all levels of co-workers and management a must to perform this job successfully
• Responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues on a timely basis to adhere to the contractual SLAs
• Monitor and analyze Helpdesk entries to ensure client needs are properly met
• Perform daily monitoring of all applications and data links
• Organize and coordinate activities associated with installation, deployment, and upgrade of software, hardware
• Provide on-going education and training to users
• Propose changes or solutions to products and services for optimal business results
• Investigate customer relationship problems, and analyzes business processes
• Oversee and monitor Cyber Security measures to protect our data and systems.
• Manage maintenance and optimization of the company’s website.
• Proposes business solutions and services needed to satisfy customer requirements
• Answer incoming phone calls and monitor helpdesk phone queues for customer support and troubleshooting.
• Requires work outside normal business hours on a rotational basis
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, IS, Computer Science or related and/or 5+ years of IT/Software/Mobile Application Support
• High level of understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
While the bulk of this role will be performed remotely, the candidate must reside in the Southern California metro area in order to provide occasional onsite visits for client support.
