Construction Project Coordinator
Our client, a Fortune 500 industry leading telecommunications company, is currently seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join their Site Development team for a 1-year contract with the potential to extend. This person will be responsible for providing coordination and task-level support to Construction Managers. This is a remote position for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones.
Responsibilities:
• Program and project tracking from inception through the close-out process.
• Document and data uploads into internal and external systems, including central file organization, purchase order (“PO”) creation, updating and receiving POs within the Oracle financial systems, and updating fee lines at the project level.
• Building strong relationships and coordinating project and program deliverables with multiple internal teams.
• Monitoring project data for accurate forecasting and receiving through all systems (OBIEE, iProcurement, Siterra).
• Attending deployment calls and working closely with Construction Managers and Project Managers to maintain and update milestone completion dates in the project tracker and system databases; maintaining organized project files and ensuring databases contain only pertinent project files.
• Manage the PO process, providing and bringing presumed discrepancies to the attention of the Construction Manager or Project Manager for review; logging POs and coordinate project invoicing
• Coordinating new vendor set-up documentation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• CST and EST time zone candidates only
• Excel experience at the intermediate level required, Smartsheet experience a plus
• 3–5 years of administrative experience required.
• 2+ years of telecommunications industry experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of site acquisition and construction for wireless sites preferred.
• Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
• Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
