About the position
Utilizing your business and project management acumen, you can design and lead complex programs that will shape the future of health care. This internship role is scheduled to be flexible, allowing for part-time remote work and part-time work at the office located at 393 East Walnut Street, Pasadena, CA 91188. The Southern California Permanente Medical Group Strategic Consulting Services (SCS) supports Physician Execution Leadership in making data-driven decisions that enable the delivery of clinical care for 4.9 million members across Southern California.
Responsibilities
• Contribute high-level analytical support to a project or department requiring application of knowledge in marketing, information management, finance, management, economics, or statistics.

• Participate in a full range of project components.
,
• Organize assigned project tasks, identify and structure information collection activities, and set timelines for completion of required tasks.
,
• Develop tools to identify and document best practices.
,
• Prepare various reports using Excel, Word, or PowerPoint, and work with access database software to develop data extracts and management information reports.
,
• Produce graphic information using Excel or PowerPoint.
,
• Contribute to the development of management information and analysis, provide recommendations, and assist with preparation of formal presentations.
,
• Identify alternative solutions to project issues.
,
• Contribute to the development of project plans to ensure timely deliverables and successful completion of projects.
,
• Assist with the identification and development of training information.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree required.
,
• Enrolled in or recent graduate of an MBA or other Masters level program with an accredited college or university.
,
• Solid analytical skills, problem solving, project management, and critical thinking.
,
• Strong project management skills.
,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
,
• Ability to utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access at a working level.
Nice-to-haves
• Knowledge of SQL or SAS highly desirable.
