Reporting to the Relevant Manager, this position is an individual contributor role and is responsible for:</h3><ul><li><h3>Manage a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels.</h3></li><li><h3>Develop profitable business with new and existing customers.</h3></li><li><h3>Possess and apply detailed product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client's business.</h3></li><li><h3>Responsible for the direct and indirect sales, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.</h3></li><li><h3>In charge of sales expansion, introduce new products/services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients.</h3></li><li><h3>Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies.</h3></li><li><h3>Regularly monitor sales performance of your territory against assigned budgets and take corrective actions as required to meet company business plans utilizing available marketing tools.</h3></li><li><h3>Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.</h3></li><li><h3>Ensure that clients receive high quality customer service.</h3></li><li><h3>Maintain SalesForce.com opportunities and activities as per nominated requirements.<br> </h3></li></ul><h3><span>Required qualifications</span></h3><ul><li><h3>Tertiary qualifications in Science / Medical Science or related background; post graduate business qualifications is looked at favorably.</h3></li><li><h3>3-5 years' experience in Business Development, preferably in Health Tech/ In vitro diagnostic products/Point Of Care Diagnostics/Medical Devices within a commercial healthcare organisation.</h3></li><li><h3> Experience in strategic selling is preferable.</h3></li><li><h3> Knowledge in tender management is ideal</h3></li><li><h3> Technology savvy</h3></li><li><h3>Advanced Excel Skills<br> </h3></li></ul><h3>This role will work within a team of very capable and passionate individuals committed to getting the best outcomes for the patients and the customers that we serve</h3><h3>Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
