<p><strong>What will you be doing?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>We’re looking for an experienced and results-driven Commercial Manager - Fruit & Vegetable Ingredients</li>
<li>In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing key customer accounts, identify new business opportunities,</li>
<li>and ensure the efficient sourcing of raw materials and purchase of traded items. (nice to have)</li>
<li>Your role will be crucial in balancing commercial growth with supply chain resilience while maintaining strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.</li>
</ul>
<h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2>
<ul>
<li>Manage key B2B customer relationships, including food manufacturers, beverage producers, and industrial clients with a focus on German, Austrian and Italian markets</li>
<li>Handle negotiations, pricing, and contract agreements to drive profitability.</li>
<li>Work closely with R&D and technical teams to support customers in product development and innovation projects.</li>
<li>Stay on top of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with growers, processors, and suppliers worldwide.</li>
<li>Ensure quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability in procurement processes.</li>
<li>Monitor commodity pricing, supply risks, and logistics to optimize sourcing decisions.</li>
<li>Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.</li>
<li>Ensure cross-functional alignment between sales, supply chain, quality and operations.</li>
</ul>
<h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2>
<p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business, or a related field.</li>
<li>8+ years of experience in sales, sourcing, or procurement in the food ingredients industry </li>
<li>Proven track record in B2B sales and supplier management.</li>
<li>Experience in international trade, import/export, or commodity sourcing.</li>
<li><strong>Strong understanding of fruit and vegetable ingredients (such as concentrates, purees, dried or frozen products) and their particular seasonality.</strong></li>
<li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.</li>
<li>A proactive, independent, and results-driven mindset.</li>
<li>Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.</li>
