(Arizona) Part Time Senior Network Contractor I - Large Groups Contracting

EWINGS is recruiting a part-time contractor (20 hours/week) to support a health plan's expansion efforts within Arizona for their individual and family products.

Preference will be given to contractors residing in Arizona with active local provider relationships.

Project Highlights

• This role is telecommute based, but may require in-person visits to providers.
• Hourly reimbursements depend on skillset, experience, and remaining positions available.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the lead contractor for negotiations with large groups, IPAs, and specialty providers.
• Leverage exceptional cold-calling skills to establish communication, introduce the plan, and secure contracts.
• Lead efforts for contracts involving non-standard arrangements requiring high-level negotiation skills.
• Assist the Project Director in coordinating the contracting team.

Manage Contracting Processes
• Identify potential providers by geographic and specialty needs using provided data.
• Call providers, establish relationships, and initiate contracting discussions using client-provided marketing materials.
• Send contracts to providers, negotiate rates within the client's provided range, and manage other terms of the agreement.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with client contract templates and standards.
• Submit completed contracts with all necessary documentation and information.
• Follow up with colleagues and clients to keep contracts moving forward.

Capture Activities
• Enter detailed notes for every outreach, including contact type, conversation summary, and next outreach date.
• Capture and update contract status per client tracking processes.
• Notate which contract templates have been sent to the provider.
• Update provider demographics as appropriate.

Provider Relations
• Provide feedback from prospective and newly contracted providers to the client.
• Perform problem analysis, identify solutions, and engage client stakeholders when necessary.
• Inform providers of the client's general credentialing process and requirements.
